The popular Folkestone Coastal 10K, sponsored by Independent Insurance Services and Insure Green, is taking place again this year on Sunday 31st May. This year the event will be raising money for The Gurkha Memorial Fund, Hft, Step Short and local Rotary Clubs, with runners also being encouraged to raise money for their chosen charity.
The 10 kilometre run will start from Folkestone seafront at 10am, head towards Hythe and then return, all whilst taking in the beautiful coastal scenery that the area has to offer. This is a flat promenade route, traffic free and a great race for those who are relatively new to running, but also for those more experienced looking for a good personal best.
